The FileWise system was an organizational file system I found years ago. It vanished and I haven't seen it since then. I blogged about it on my other blog and thankfully someone still had the manual! I am putting it online for everyone to use! Thanks to Goldie C for helping me out on this.
I will start adding the file sections and how to start over the next few weeks.

12 June 2012: I got all the category files on the website. You can click on the links for the categories to the left to view what files go in them. Not sure where to start? Check out Category A- Active Files.

I also got the full document retention guidelines up. It has it's own tab at the top of the page.
I started on the Universal Index but I have to sleep sometime. I will work on it tomorrow.
Oh I know! I love this system. I will eventually get back to here and get it updated and finish adding all the parts. Life just got away with me.
ReplyDeleteWell here it is now 2022 and I've been using this system since God knows when. I went looking to see if there were updates and that is how I ended up here. Hard to believe after 20 yrs this system still works and this company is apparently out of business. A HUGE THANK YOU for all this hard work you've done. It is not in vain. There are still people out and about still using and looking for this.
ReplyDeleteYou're Welcome! I've tweaked it here and there for my own personal use (Like I have an extra A folder for "take to work" and "fill out for work") but I still use it. And I love it too. I'm glad it's helping people still.
